Little Incrementisle Island Minigames
Little Incrementisle island minigames guide: pirate raids, tides, earthquakes, marble game — July 14 2026 performance patches and tips.
Last updated: July 2026
Minigames Overview
Each island in Little Incrementisle features interactive minigames tied to events — pirate raids, tides, earthquakes, and specialty games like the marble minigame on certain islands. These are not optional side content; failing or ignoring them can cost resources and villagers.
AM TEAM optimized minigame performance in the July 14, 2026 patch. Pirate raids, tides, and earthquakes run smoother after updating. If you played on launch day and found events stuttery, patch before judging difficulty.
Pirate Raid Minigame
Pirate raids combine colony defense with an action minigame sequence. Pre-assign defenders before the raid timer — see our pirate guide for villager strategy. After the July 14 optimization pass, the raid minigame should feel less choppy on mid-range PCs.
A second optimization was included in the afternoon bug-fix announcement the same day. Update to the latest build if raids still lag.
Tides and Earthquakes
Tide and earthquake events use minigame-style interactions during disaster windows. They were part of the morning July 14 performance patch alongside pirate raids. Keep repair materials stocked — the minigame is smoother but the colony damage rules are unchanged.
Marble Minigame
The marble minigame appears on specific island content. A July 14 bug fix resolved the game window staying stuck on top of all other applications during the marble game. If you alt-tabbed out and could not click other windows, update the game — this was a confirmed fix.
July 15 brought a major accessibility update: the marble-sorting minigame is now readable for colorblind players, including tritanopia support. Triangle indicators inside marbles received a small UI bug fix the same day. Color alone is no longer the only cue — look for pattern and shape differences when sorting.
Performance Tips
Community reports note island minigames can still stutter on older hardware even after patches — caves and dense village scenes are common triggers. Close background apps, use fullscreen, and lower population before minigame-heavy islands if FPS drops.
- Update to the latest Steam build before island five plus.
- Pause recruitment before raid or disaster minigames.
- Use fullscreen if borderless causes input lag.
- Report persistent stutter with your GPU model on Steam.
